North-Nigeria:Seven northern states governors have vowed to fight insurgency in the region to zero level. The governors of Zamfara,Kebbi,Sokoto,Kaduna,Kana,Katsina and Niger came to the conclusion in a meeting held together to find way forwad in the region. This was disclosed in a statewide televison broadcast on Thursday by Gov.Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state,who is also the chairman of the governors forum. He stated that the insecurity situations in the region have made it hard for the various states governments to deliver positive governance to the people. The governor appealed to the people especially the poor to bear with the governments,saying the situation will soon change for better.
